American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (NYSE: AEO) today announced that total sales for the four weeks ended May 2, 2009 decreased 2% to $193.6 million, compared to $197.7 million for the four weeks ended May 3, 2008. Comparable store sales decreased 5% for the month, compared to a 2% increase for the same period last year.
